On Sunday March 27, 8:00 p.m.,plan to meet at Trinkle Marsh Preserve (Trinkle Rd., Dexter Twp.) for an Early Spring Birding Hike with Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation. On the hike, families will spend time checking out the open water and wetland areas of the preserve to see what waterfowl and other wetland habitat birds we might find. Next hike along the east boundary of the preserve through open habitat to an oak hickory woods, looking for song birds, birds of prey and more.
Please bring binoculars and field guide if you can although some binoculars will be available to borrow. Naturalist Faye Stoner leads this hike.
