Every Saturday throughout the summer May through early December, your entire family can tour
the Rentschler Farm (1265 E. Michigan Ave., Saline) and Saline Railroad Depot Museums. From 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. your family can explore the farm and it's man outbuildings, check in on the resident farm animals including young lambs and their ewes, as well as baby pigs and view a brief presentation about the farm. Appointments may also be made for larger tour groups by calling 734-769-2219.
My family toured the farm a few years ago late in November. It was a nice way to break up the weekend while seeing a beautiful local historical attraction.
