It's the perfect time of the year to take the family on a nature hike to experience the early fall colors and creatures of the wild, especially migrating birds! This Saturday at 8:00 a.m., at Hudson Mills Metropark (8801 N. Territorial Rd., Dexter) families can enjoy a short bird hike in the park for only $3.00 per person plus vehicle parking fee.
Bring your binoculars and a field guide to observe bird species seen in the park and record dates, locations, and trends from year to year. Hikers will explore a variety of habitats throughout the park.
