Free Tour of EMU Planetarium and Observatory

Take the kids for a free tour of the Shertzer Observatory November 18.
On Friday, November 18, 6:00-7:30 p.m. the Eastern Michigan University, Sherzer Observatory (124 College Pl., Ypsilanti) will be hosting a free tour of the Astronomy Lab and Shertzer Observatory. The tour, geared for children in 3rd grade and up will explore all the possibilities of our universe - meteor showers, constellations, moons, and planets in the planetarium! Then take a short walk to the Sherzer Observatory to see what’s happening in the real sky.
Families interested in participating need to meet at the EMU Planetarium, parking is available at southwest corner of the EMU campus, Washtenaw at Oakwood St. for $1 per hour. Space is limited though, so please pre-register soon by calling 482-4110 ext. 1385.
