New "Critter House" Weekend Hours at the Leslie Science & Nature Center

My son enjoying a recent outing to the Leslie Science and Nature Center
I was very excited to read the other day that the "Critter House" at the Leslie Science and Nature Center (1831 Traver Rd., Ann Arbor) has added weekend hours for families to enjoy! From rabbits to rats, iguanas to turtles the “Critter House,” will now be open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Families can enjoy the animals, ask questions, and take part in different hands on activities every weekend. And the best part is, that the activity is MOSTLY free! The LSNC is only suggesting a $1.00 donation for your visit.

Stay the entire day and walk in the woods, walk  the Black Pond Trail, or view the raptors being fed (Saturday's from 4:00-6:00 p.m.). So come on out and see the critters, throw a Frisbee, or enjoy lunch around our picnic tables.

  1. Thanks so much for posting this - we're excited to welcome families to our Critter House as well! The warmer weather has lots of people coming to the trails, to see the birds and to visit with their favorite "critter". Hope to see you soon!
