Want to celebrate the Chinese New Year with some cool crafts and activities? This Sunday from, the kids can celebrate the Asian Lunar New Year with Frances Wang and students from the Ann Arbor Chinese Center of Michigan. Families can will find stories, fan dance demo, Chinese yo-yo demonstrations, crafts and children’s activities, culminating with the Lion Dance at the free event.
The Chinese New Year event takes place at the Ypsilanti Library (5577 Whittaker Rd., Ypsilanti) on Sunday, January 15 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Don't worry, if you miss the event, it will be repeated on Saturday, January 21 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Library Michigan Avenue branch!
