I love that the kids are getting old enough to spend lengthier periods of time outdoors. I remember playing in the snow for HOURS on end and only coming in when mom begged. Kids today don't seem to always do that. I am very fond of nature and the great-outdoors too, enjoying walks in the woods, introducing the kids to many nature friends and more. I also like to kep a tight budget. I suppose all of these things interested me in the Recreation 101 at the

Saturday's throughout January, there are several fun events that the whole family can enjoy:
- January 7 - At 2:00 p.m. spend time doing some winter tracking of some of Mother Nature's friends
- January 14 - At 2:00 p.m. Enjoy winter's splendor while cross country skiing folowed by a warm beverage!
- January 21 - At 10:00 a.m. the kids can learn about many species of birds that hang around all winter!
- January 28 - At 2:00 p.m. kids will enjoy learning about the many hibernation areas of animals while learning to identify many plants and trees by their bark and winter apearance!
